Unfortunately Android is an afterthought for Tesla. Many features like UWB support, Auto Frunk, Auto Trunk, and dashcam clips in the app only work for iOS. "Coming soon" for over a year. Clearly not their priority in the slightest. In addition it takes a while for the car to wake up from the app to use some features. It's 2025 and Tesla needs to send out updates to both operating systems at the same time.

Finally found the source of a longstanding issue for me after several Android devices (OnePlus 9 Pro, OnePlus 12) and Android versions (12,13,14 and 15) later. After device boots up Tesla app works great. If you turn Bluetooth off for any reason and turn it back on, the remote key/wireless system to unlock the car handsfree with your phone doesn't work. You have to reboot your phone. The Bluetooth WILL connect to audio in the car etc. It will NOT work for entry into the car, however. Please fix!

Phone key disconnects every single time I get in and out of my car. All the settings are correct. The technician at the Tesla dealership can't figure it out and suggested I leave the Tesla app open and screen showing at all times. Obviously that is ridiculous. Ever since a software update a couple months ago it stopped working. Very disappointed that I cannot simply get in and out of my car or start my car without going through a multi-step process first.
